The Trinity

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." - I John 5:7
 
The word trinity means " a union of three parts in one." The Trinity of God is the existence of one God through three persons - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. An egg is a good comparison; you can hold one egg, and yet is exists in three parts - the yolk, the white, and the shell.
